Both the baked goods and food are delicious. Whenever I’m in the area, I make sure to stop by and load up. I honestly wish I lived closer because this would absolutely be my go-to spot for breakfast pastries and lunch. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Chef Karina and Chef Fernando are incredibly talented, along with the rest of the baking team, shoutout to Natali, Nadia and Jesse! :) The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everyone working here is always so kind and friendly. I genuinely love everything I’ve tried, but my favorites have to be the raspberry shortbread cookie, the sadly seasonal pear scone, the brisket sandwich, and the crispy chicken burrata sandwich. If I’m getting dessert to share, the chocolate cake, raspberry crumble bars, and seasonal pumpkin tart are my ultimate favorites which you can pre-order. Pro tip: if you see something on display, order it immediately. Once it’s gone, it’s gone — and you’ll definitely be sad you missed out on a tasty treat. 🥲

A beautiful, cozy place to grab a coffee & pastry! Plenty of space to sit. Super friendly service as well. This place makes the Pico-Robertson neighborhood feel like home. Some of my favorites include the chocolate cake, cinnamon bun (only on weekends!), mocha, and latte. My mom swears that it is the best latte she’s ever had, and I swear that it is the best mocha I’ve ever had!

The coffee and atmosphere are amazing, the food is phenomenal, and the service is truly unmatched. We have tried nearly every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. Each visit leaves us looking forward to the next, and I can honestly say I could live off the delicious creations this place has to offer!! So, if find yourself nearby, do yourself a favor and come hungry because you won’t regret it. Be sure to save room for the one or three of the bakery items, where every sweet treat feels like a nostalgic trip back to a time when calories didn’t count. The breakfast burritos are deliciously hearty, with flavors that make it the perfect way to start your morning. The braised brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender, elevated by the perfect crunch of pickles and crispy onions taking your tastebuds to the next level. The crispy chicken burrata is cooked to perfection with just the right touch of spice that makes your tastebuds tingle, and for my veggie lovers, the roasted vegetable sandwich with marinated mozzarella is an absolute delight. Simply put, there’s something here for everyone, and every dish is crafted with care. This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back again and again.

The coffee and the pastries are great. But the real winners are the sandwiches on the lunch menu. Absolutely unreal. The staff is friendly and the seating area is really nice to do a little work. I just wish they were open on Mondays and Tuesdays!

Such a hidden gem found and I certainly blamed myself for being bit skeptical about the cute place earlier. This bakeshop was just flawlessly designed that entering it totally gave that homey welcoming ambiance from your neighborhood cafe; honestly loved it a ton and could see myself being a regular. The service further elevated it as the owners, who were a couple, were both so so friendly and genuine. Sitting there for few hours, I could literally see how they're trying to know each consumer! You might need to come early on weekend to still have full selections especially some of their favorites like the cinnamon rolls; yep, I sadly missed it :( . Call me still lucky, I got to try their 'I LOVE CHOCOLATE CAKE' (yessss literally the name!). As that name said, it was SO SO GOOD that you just couldn't hate it! I wasn't even intended to order it as I was indeed not really into chocolate cake , but the person sitting next to me raving about it as his friend made him come for that and he couldn't stop saying how much he's enchanted finding it. Thankfully, I finally followed my gut (and him) ordering it and I was slapped by how decadent it was, being amazingly not overly heavy in texture but so rich in flavor for both the cake and the buttercream. If you don't wanna regret or miss it, better try before doubting! $9 surely was surely worthwhile. Even their other bake goods were as impressive. I got the oatmeal golden raisin cookie and easily was sold. They did offer coffee and tea to come as perfect pairing to your sweet!

Marigold Bakeshop is truly a gem in the neighborhood! I’ve been here so many times and each time I’ve been welcomed by the very friendly staff. My favorite to go pastry is their chocolate chip cookie, just out of this world ! Definitely recommend checking them out.

Marigold Bakeshop is such a gem, their coffee is amazing, the sandwiches and salads are consistently fresh and delicious, and on the weekends they have the most incredible cinnamon rolls that are absolutely worth it. Huge shoutout to Jesse for the outstanding customer service; genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful, which really makes the experience special and is the main reason I’d keep coming back. Highly recommend.

August 1, 2026 (Saturday) was a great day for me because I discovered THE BEST place on planet earth called Marigold Bakeshop. Three letters to describe this place: OMG. The red velvet cake, cinnamon roll, and chocolate cake were so delicious that each bite was like heaven. If you like coffee I can 100% guarantee that this place will be your go to place for coffee. To top off my day, I also ordered their brisket sandwich. The brisket was so tender that it melted in my mouth and it was packed with so much flavor that had me wanting more. How I wish this place was in my home state of Florida. If you are ever in the Los Angeles area or are fortunate to live here please give this place a try and I promise you will make Marigold Bakeshop your home away from home. Customer service is top notch. The moment I entered the place I was greeted with smiles.

**5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Marigold Bakeshop Pico LA: Chocolate Cake Worthy of a Perfect Score** Tucked on Pico Blvd just west of the hustle, **Marigold Bakeshop** is the cozy neighborhood gem that’s become my instant obsession 🍫✨. The interior is warm and inviting—soft lighting, wooden counters piled with fresh treats, plants everywhere, and that irresistible smell of butter and cocoa wrapping around you like a hug. The **great patio** out back is shaded and peaceful, with string lights and plenty of tables—perfect for lingering on a sunny LA afternoon. Two weekends in a row, I got their **chocolate cake**, and both times it was pure perfection. Layers of moist, deeply chocolatey sponge, silky ganache frosting that’s rich but not too sweet, and a texture that melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of cake you close your eyes for on the first bite—no dryness, no artificial aftertaste, just balanced, indulgent bliss. One slice is generous enough to share, but good luck convincing yourself to do that. **Street parking** is surprisingly doable (metered spots right out front or easy side streets), staff are warm and quick with recommendations, and the whole place feels like a little escape. I’ve already got my eye on the drinks (that iced lavender latte looks amazing) and sandwiches (turkey & brie calling my name) for next visit. Marigold isn’t flashy—it’s just genuinely excellent baking in a lovely space. If you’re anywhere near Pico-Robertson, do yourself a favor and stop in. This chocolate cake alone earned every star. Can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the menu.

I’ve placed more than a few cake orders with Marigold and they’ve never missed once. They’ve become my go-to for everything from small birthdays to company events and also helped me celebrate my 30th birthday by providing the cake, dessert table, and a fruit bar (thank you Fernando!). As for cake flavors, they’ve ranged from the chocolate cake (the Matilda cake is my boyfriends favorite), berry cake, carrot cake, tres leches, red velvet, and vanilla with banana filling and when I tell you- they have ALL been delicious. Everything Marigold bakes is amazing and stamped with a seal of quality. It’s a small business and easy to tell that Karina and Fernando put care into everything they do and bake. They’re communicative and always open to custom requests - they take your inspo pictures and tell you realistically what they can and can't do and always work to make sure you get the results you're looking for. I can’t recommend them enough!!! 🌟🌟🌟
